We use this phrase frequently when we discuss matters of Common Law. Here, in our own weekly meetings, this phrase comes up frequently. Our documentation is a challenge of lawful authority. What then is lawful authority? To answer this I will refer to the second paragraph of the Declaration of Independence. The full document transcription has been added as a post to this blog site as well (emphasis added).
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, –That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.–Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government. The history of the present King of Great Britain is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world.“
Lawful authority is simply authority granted to government by the people. When one is noticed and requested to prove lawful authority, if they are unable to do so, they admit to NOT having lawful authority, or not having the consent of the governed in whatever act they are trying to impose upon another. If they cannot prove lawful authority, it is the same as admitting that their demands are tyrannical, or beyond the intended scope of our government.
Notice the following text in the quote above:

Does this sound familiar? Have the American people not proven this to be true today? We have endured the greatest tyranny exacted on American soil in the history of our founding, in hopes to avoid conflict, in hopes that it will pass. Unfortunately, intentional, purposeful, tyranny doesn’t simply blow by like a cloud in the sky. It is planned, forethought, and carefully orchestrated to the finest detail. Americans have been stripped of their unalienable rights repeatedly throughout the “pandemic”. The once luke-warm pot of water is now boiling. The First Amendment of the Constitution, abolished. The Second Amendment, under attack for decades. The Fourth and Fifth Amendments, disregarded and so on. The very people that are supposed to be defending our life, liberty, and property are doing the exact opposite. May I submit that human nature is not so changing as to assume that the same can happen again as happened before? No reasonable man or woman wants conflict on American soil. I pray that the tyrants among us are exposed before it ever comes to that. May God bless you and God bless America!
